**** Gentle Wind Project Lawsuit Update (Updated) *****

After I posted an earlier news item about charges in a lawsuit against Rick Ross being dropped in Federal Court, a couple who is still involved in the lawsuit contacted me. They are Jim Bergin and Judy Garvey. They are former members of the Gentle Wind Project (GWP) and the counts against them in the lawsuit have not been dismissed.

Ruling offers new basis for suits against churches

A Superior Court judge has ruled that a Jehovah's Witness church in Boston can be sued for breaking its trust and legal duty to a girl who said she was sexually abused by one of the church's ministerial servants.

The Watchtower's Canadian branch lawyer has sent a cease and desist letter to the owner, developer and webhost of quotes.watchtower.ca. See scans of the letter at LETTER

This looks to me like a replay of what they tried with the Watchtower Observer site in Norway a few years ago.
